Samsung’s Galaxy S21+ Design Leaked

Update - 2018.01.27Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Colour Options Tipped

Samsung’s Galaxy S21 looks likely to be launched in January 2021, and ahead of its launch, the phone has already started to been seen online, with the latest leak coming courtesy of ShopeSite, showing off the design of the phone through CAD-based renders that show off the dimensions and the shape of the upcoming Galaxy S21 Plus model.

While the renders don’t reveal much, they do reveal the punch hole selfie camera and the rear camera array the device is expected to bring with itself. Interestingly, the design on the renders matches that we’ve already seen on previous leaks about the Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra models leading us to believe that there really is some credibility to these leaks.

Additionally, analyst Ross Young has revealed on Twitter what he claims are the color options for the upcoming Galaxy device: gray, pink, violet and white for the standard S21, black and silver for the S21 Plus, and black, silver and violet for the S21 Ultra. Looking at this one thing is clear that the Bronze color has not made the cut this time, with Violet the color replacing it.

Talking about the three phones, it is definitely the Galaxy S21 Ultra (or the Galaxy S30 Ultra) which will be the most interesting device from the line-up. In the last week, we’ve had specific leaks revealing interesting details about the device, including its design.

In terms of dimensions, @OnLeaks has claimed that the S21 Ultra’s screen will be between 6.7 and 6.9-inches and measure roughly 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm. However, he claims that there is no slot for the S-Pen, although there is a belief that the phone will still support it. Talking about the Galaxy S21, the phone’s dimensions are said to be 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9m. If this is indeed true, it would mean the S30 will be slightly wider than the S20.

mentioned above, the phones are likely to be launched in January. This would be the earliest release for a Samsung Galaxy S flagship. There are expected to be three models, including a top-end S21 Ultra featuring support for an S Pen and new camera capabilities.

Interestingly, it will also be the first time that Samsung launches a new Galaxy device so close to Apple’s flagship iPhones. With barely months between them, a January launch for the Galaxy S21 could essentially make choosing between the two a more difficult exercise and could tip a lot of undecided buyers in Samsung’s favor. It would also give it a good headstart over competing flagships from other phone makers which will start to launch a month or two after the now rumored January launch for Samsung Galaxy S series.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series color options (expected)

As per the tweet by display industry analyst Ross Young, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be offered in Grey, Pink, Violet, and White color options. The Galaxy S21+ is said to come in Black and Silver color options while the Galaxy S20 Ultra is said to come in Black, Silver, and Violet color options. Additionally, the tweet mentions that the Samsung smartphones will be produced in Brazil, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam.

That’s all the information available in the tweet and Young states that these color options are 100 percent confirmed. However, Samsung has not shared any information on the color options so this piece of information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Talking about previous leaks, it was recently reported that Samsung Galaxy S21+ will come with a hole-punch cut out for the selfie camera that is placed at the centrally at the top of the display. Additionally, the camera housing module of Samsung Galaxy S21 also surfaced separately and it falls in line with what was previously leaked. Further, alleged renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra were leaked showing a bigger camera module than the Galaxy S20 with four sensors.
